Its part of what a partnership is or else you need to be indie, or take a huge pay loss in percentages in the deal.
He could also sue IF IT IS legit breaking of contract.

I think it’s more personal because he’s had a decade long partnership with them and Yeezy is literally their staple shoes. Yeezy saved adidas when they were falling off.
