So yall just accept corporate meddling with creatives like it's cool? "Adidas is looking out for their bottom line" If they were being smart, they would keep their most valuable asset happy. Kanye ain't the type of nigga to just shut up and take a check. He fought for his creative control and I think that's admirable. It represents a lot for black creators. Yall complained that he was crying and that he should sue while he actually got the knock offs deleted and Adidas is bending to his will. Yall won't give no credit tho

Im not with the adidas leeching off of black creatives or anyone tbh

but Im also not with mr kanye "I promote capitalism with a red hat on" west playing victim for when he gets got by the same s*** he promotes, I stated in that post why it leaves me apathetic (no idgaf about any BlAcK CReAtIvE who idly sits by when a corporation is accused of human right abuses and systemic racism in the workplace not being ReSpEcTeD by that same corporation)

u can miss me with this bs tbh, no one is winning besides Adidas and maybe ye, I guess u wanna be on the winning team by proxy with this d***riding behavior veiled as standing up for black creatives lmao

yeah y'all funny asl with this "they should respect him" bs
this is how the wheels of capitalism move lmao

ye is a music artist first right, well look at how the industry treated beloved musicians like MJ and Prince despite them making their labels billions, they still profit off of them in death, shamelessly

their bottom line will always be making profit, that's what they're decision making will be influenced by "what makes Adidas money"

maybe they see making money off of knock offs as a better investment than just focusing on original yeezys ( wake up call for ye stans: most companies accross different industries will profit off of their knock-offs, this isn't new nor a slight to kanye west. simply the progression of dealing with such a conglomerate)

Im not for this type of business model but that's the reality of the situation, watching ye act like a victim over the consequences of dealing with a system he endorses/brags about leave me apathetic.

secondly, him "exposing" adidas isn't gonna do s*** to their business, adidas has been accused of far worse with ye being silent and continuing to do business with them. Unless you've been living under a rock, you knew Adidas isnt the multi-billion dollar company to go to for "respect" (especially not as a black man lmao)

    1) accused of using sweatshops

    2) accused of failing to adress racism in the workplace

Adidas isn't supposed to respect ye, they're supposed to sell shoes and sportswear, that's it.

I thought ye wanted people to boycott adidas over this (I could be wrong but pdiddy announced he's boycotting adidas over the ye dispute so maybe there's how I get the idea of ye wanting people to rally behind him)

businessmen usually deal with business issues behind closed doors not social media.

rite but when ye tried to deal w it behind closed doors....he got no where. adidas clearly knew the entire time that those shoes ye accuses them of copying were gonna get them in potential legal trouble, otherwise they would've never taken them down. cus ur right they don't respect the guy and there's no way they would've cancelled products, much less remove a new shoe (adifom q) that they were marketing pretty heavy even last week, purely outta respect.

so there are definitely gripes w ye doin a social media pr boohoo campaign -- it aint businesslike at all. but it was also the primary rzn that adidas did what they did. it didn't become a point of conflict for breaching ye's contract or a legal problem Because ye brought it to social media, it was a legal quagmire the entire time and adidas knew that. but so long as it was handled behind closed doors....nothin would've happened.

I also worry that it’ll backfire somehow and he’ll end up f***ing his bread up if Adidas drops him and his next collaboration is trash or companies decide he isn’t worth the bad publicity.

He’s done a lot of dumb, self destructive s*** over the past few years, he’s lost his family, the music isn’t hitting anymore, etc. Idk if he can get away with acting like this forever

It cost billions of dollars to manufacture shoes and clothes in the scale Kanye wants. It would take him multiple lifetimes to conjure enough money to make enough supply to meet demand.

    Facts

Literally scaling out the infrastructure is why ye has to partner with a sneaker behemoth like adidas.

Drake and Tyler are not scaling out s***. Let’s be real

  • Sep 8, 2022

Idk if you guys been to any sneaker shops or anything but adidas is quite literally stealing his designs lmaooo. I seen 700 ripoffs 500 ripoffs 350 ripoffs all jus sitting. If I didn’t double check I would’ve fr thought they were Yeezys lmaooo.

Imagine Kanye wants 100k of a pair of shoe made but Adidas says na only 80k then they go make another 30k of some random ripoffs. Makes no sense.

y’all jus want kanye to take all this bullshit, but since Yeezus he been fighting against the industry lmao filled wit discrimination and racism.

He reviving dead brands making them billions and they don’t give him any sort of respect that s*** is evil as hell lmaoo

    Say it louder fam

Ppl are prejudiced against Kanye, always been that way, the greatest geniuses have to suffer
