    We had this discussion already

Rap changes over time. Kendrick Cole Drake etc fit the standards of their era, Big Nas and Pac fit the standards of their era and so on

There are good young rappers rn they just don't fit what you think rap "should" be

    Bc it's not really "rap"

It's more like melodic autotune music. It should go by another name

Yes there are artists who are doing that s*** pretty well atm, but ppl who wanna hear that RAP s*** and love artists like Kendrick and Biggie just want to hear something else, hence the disappointment

the scene is too saturated with braindead wannabe clowns that have never created anything of substance in their lives, i'm sure there are good rappers out there but you have to wade through a sea of identical soundcloud bullshit to get there. artistic integrity is dying fast

This argument is overused. Even though there’s niggas killing it like young boy and lil baby no body in here to murder it. Like the hunger ? There’s no one palming the game and screaming it’s theirs. Pac did it, drizzy did it fifty did it that’s the spirit of hip hop. Out of every one though lil baby definetly going hard rn but the spark just isn’t there.

?? How so? Rap fans know that GKMC is a classic debut and they know that Ready to Die is a classic debut. They know that both Biggie and Kendrick can rap their ass off.

Are you sure that you're not just trying to be a contrarian? If so then I respect it.. but personally, all the hip hop heads that I talk to love both Kendrick and Biggie.. and if I check what the OG legends have to say, like Ice Cube, Common (off the top of my head) and many others, then they love Kendrick and consider him a GOAT too..
