When I said wives I didn’t mean your own wives, I meant there are scriptures that talk about taking enemy soldiers women or straight up killing in the name of god. And I’m cool with all that cause i believe in what I believe in, but for me to act like that isn’t questionable at all doesn’t feel honest.

There are parts of the Bible when different prophets speak that make sense to me though as divine revelations from God, Same as how the Quran is considered the divine word of god as transmitted through Muhammad.

How does it feel sort of picking and choosing which foundations you want to believe? Speaking from a theological standpoint since no one is perfect

True to an extent. If someone who doesn’t read Arabic is at least putting in the effort to learn the text by reading a translation they’ll likely get good deeds from it. Probably not as much as reading it in Arabic but god knows best. All about intentions at the end of the day.

Nestorianism tried to make sense of holy trinity in the 5th century but the Romans rejected it and the Nestorians got exiled and fled to Iran where they could freely practice under the Sassanids. First Nestorian church was in Sassanid Iran.

that's not even getting into the whole notion of God's divine presence within its creation, this would literally include Jesus under it as he was divinely synthesized
