    Synopsis

And these small business owners are, like i said, just reproducing capitalist exploitation on a smaller scale, people just like to lie about what theyre doing.

Sure, we can lament the fact that every year it seems that powerful corporations gain more and more control, as capitalism lends itself towards monopoly, but the answer here is not "more small businesses" or keeping the minimum wage down so small businesses can hire more employees.

That’s not the point of small business u dumb piece of s***

The point of small businesses is indeed to make profit, and the source of profit is exploitation.

Synopsis is not wrong. I worked at a small business for 9 years and they exploit their workers worse than larger businesses.

Also I feel like "Hey we probably shouldn't burn down the local book store" is a reasonable take, but again if you're referring to the people who use that simply as an argument against any public outrage then they're also not to be taken seriously.

Yeah bro let’s take your one example and apply it to all. And no billoin dollar companies exploiting their employees for 12$ an hour is exploitation not a good comparison

I have worked for two small businesses and and three larger ones. I would take the larger corporations over the small businesses any day. Of course you can't say they are all bad. But, he is not wrong saying that ultimately as a whole, small businesses are the same are larger corporations and often times are worse.

Doesn't mean small business owners still not capitalists, they still exploit their employees, but the difference in outcomes when a small business vs a big business is looted is obvious.

But small businesses getting collectivized too

But you have to be mindful about the messaging when talking about small businesses tho..

I can attest to this I had a summer job at a family ran business and the family manager worked his family members to the BONE! One of the people there told her daughter do definitely not come work here in the summer and then they hired me and they worked me to the bone I could not even go to the toilet in peace! The family manager told me he wanted to hire me permanently I said thank you but I'm not interested!

Right, and so how do they profit? by paying their employees less than they produce, hence exploitation.
