It’s quite the opposite for Drake where haters give the Weeknd all the credit even though he was only involved in 5 songs and most of the Take Cares sound is derivative of the Club Paradise and Marvin’s Room which had nothing to do with Abel. i think cudi does get a lot of credit for 808's, i see it all the time. but ye decided to do the sad spacy autotune thing himself after doing tpains good life verse on stage, went through his moms death and a breakup himself, was still at least executive producer on all of it, and performed the album mostly himself. i dont think hes given credit unfairly in this case.
