Cudi crafted various songs on that album and inspired the sound that was 808s and Heartbreaks. It’s funny because Heartless was written by Cudi but no one seems to give him the credit. It’s quite the opposite for Drake where haters give the Weeknd all the credit even though he was only involved in 5 songs and most of the Take Cares sound is derivative of the Club Paradise and Marvin’s Room which had nothing to do with Abel. When will Cudi get his due?
ok im going to stop you right there before you make yourself look even dumber. 808's was already being made before ye got cudi in the studio. secondly songs like say you will, amazing, and street lights, and love lockdown had no cudi influence or writing credit. MJ and T-pain inspired ye to make 808's .
also i was eating and op username almost made me throw up
Why would you point this out
Whats really wild is giving either of them the majority of credit shows how little just plain songwriters get.
Jeff Bhasker not only wrote on most of 808s with Ye but unlike Cudi and Hudson has made hits as big as 808s consistently since for other artist.
It's wild that either Cudi or Hudson get credit over him when Ye x Bhasker did more of the album together then either of those two.
no college trilogy without donda
no yeezus without travis scott production either
ok let’s not act like the real masterminds behind Yeezus production was arca, daft punk, goldstein, tnght, and gessafelstein
Not make that s*** dark travis
would credit 808s to t pain and wayne

Jeff BEEN that nigga they just don't know
I mean he is gonna get credit for his own album
But he doesn't get credit for starting that sound or autotune in hip hop.
I'm just saying Jeff gets less then either Hudson or Cudi and he did most of the work.
People really only credit based on fame and it shows by the fact Cudi gets most credit then Hudson when neither put in as much work as Jeff nor have the catalog post 808s he does.
He's a good example of someone I see never even mentioned in articles and he co wrote half the album.
Hes a writer not a producer
Don’t forget tpain had a hand in that album also.
Because of your username Idk if this is serious or not

I’m very serious when it comes to facts.

T Pain stayed for a day or two and his ideas were so bad the entire studio made fun of him until he left.
Nigga did as much as a janitor

Unless you were there, just stop.

He's a musician, the tracks started out with Jeff playing random chords and Ye would freestyle over them

I don't have to be he said it himself
In a recent interview with VladTV, T-Pain claims the process wasn't as enjoyable as you would think. He recalls one instance where Kanye West put him on blast during a studio session, and that everyone present joined in. "He came up with this song for me, and it wasn't a good song," T-Pain says. "It was basically describing how wack my ideas was that I was coming up with. And he made everybody in the studio join in with him to sing like, 'T-Pain's s*** is weak.'"

Pain wasn't respected nor were his ideas used. Shortly after he said he was kicked out of the camp cause he wasn't holding his own
