he probably not seeing industry niggas as worthy
lmao this is way more accurate than ppl saying he fell off
timbo is very selective and idt anyone can blame him esp when they consider his catalogue
This and that rozay beat are hard but they just prove my point. All the production credits I can think of Timbo having somewhat recently are all with ppl that are already established legends, I don’t see him sending s*** to trippie or Larry June
He's probably too expensive
I don't think he's washed but his style isn't what many artists are looking for so naturally he's not getting as many placements
that's really the burden of having a signature style in music, your success kinda makes you dated when trends change
I need late 90s/early 2000s Timbaland back he had a thing for making experimental yet catchy s*** that nobody can pull off today
no one motivates him to do so
no interesting people
if missy is motivated and calls him, they'll restore the feeling
He dominated the 2000s and definitely made some good s*** in the years later but then it seemed to slow down. Usually he’s in the convo of goat producers with Pharrell and ye, and personally I think he’s above them both in skill. But Pharrell still produces hits to this day, and ye does a little bit of everything these days (producing lil nas x tracks, writing trav verses, mentoring carti to be the new leader). They have a clear connection with the next gen of rap, and timbo should be right there too but I don’t feel like his presence is there. Last rap credit I recall of his was a ski mask throwaway track. Is he intentionally not working with new ppl or what?
he had a cole credit this year
this s*** is hard but it sound like he just trying to recreate his old stuff
His drums don’t knock like they used to. The samples sound too generic and flat too
there's only so many Indian and asian samples he can use
I will never forgive him for ruining Tink career
yeah let’s blame that on timbaland
Bruh already said he worded it wrong, he was just saying Tyler introduced a lot of his fans to Pharrell and NERD’s catalogue which he did
A small percent of the billions of ppl that had already heard of nerd or Pharrell, so no
Its literally nothing to do with Tyler lmao
A small percent of the billions of ppl that had already heard of nerd or Pharrell, so no
Its literally nothing to do with Tyler lmao
Which I already said I was just clarifying what he meant, it’s like some of u want to argue
I already said Tyler had nothing to do with Pharrell’s resurgence, but Tyler did introduce a lot of his OWN young fans to Pharrell
Whats disagreeable about that? Jesus f***ing christ dude go f*** yourself
I've wondered this myself but I think he's genuinely focused on Beatclub right now.. and obviously working with JT.
He has songs here and there but I don't think anyone can ever replicate his prime years.
His production style not really fit for a lotta niggas today. Only a couple could get in that bag and pull it off like Kendrick. He good anyway. His legacy solid.
Man Timbaland is one of the greatest. I think he is better than Pharrell. He’s way more unique. Don’t get me wrong the Look at Me beat by Mase is crazy or s*** like that but Timbaland had the unique sound effects and rhythms. He created a new sound in R&B and the drums for No More Pain by Tupac
my take is that i still think he's relevant he makes good beats but i feel like rappers nowadays are their own team engineering producing mixing and mastering their own track it slows down the process when you have 50 niggas trying to 'create' one artist

It’s actually a slower process doing it all yourself lol most artist that do I themselves still have a team they can turn to
