bruh................that's literally part of what BLM is doing, among other things that will have a positive effect on the black community

I'm not gonna call you a coon but you've definitely been tricked into thinking BLM is in the wrong by people who think the answer is blaming black people for the actions of criminals

i dont think BLM is in the wrong at all, i apologize if my words gave off that perception

There’s no point in trying to educate someone that is going to hold unfavourable views towards black people regardless of what you say.

i think its worth it trying to offer someone a way out of ignorance, u may be right, so it is what it is

but yeah kinda suspect about posting asian news reporters perspectives on black deaths but maybe im overreacting on that point

i never said black on black crime, man. i dont even believe in that term because it writes off the issue of white on black crime. all i want to bring to the table is the concept of making sure we cover all bases to achieve black prosperity. we must work on bringing education to our communities

it’s clear what you’re talking about and as i and many others have said, it is a symptom of poverty. how can communities do well when poverty is abundant? when government is failing these people.

black lives matter is mostly for countering police brutality against black people which is a completely different dynamic to poor people killing each other.

and even that, there has been multiple initiatives started by black people for black people to counter gang violence especially but you rarely hear about this in the news.

try telling that to the hundreds of people who like like us dying in Chicago every year. if im a coon for caring about black people then f*** it. peace, man

G are you really comparing stray bullets from GANG MEMBERS to POLICE PURPOUSFULLY killing INNOCENT PEOPLE?

Shut the f*** up coon ass nigga, you sick in the head dawg

i updated my main post. i see that what i said originally may make me out to seem that i dislike BLM and i support the "black on black crime" narrative. I support BLM and i support the protests against police brutality. the thing i ask is that we should put more support into these initiatives that curb gun violence in our communities

Yes you dumb f***. ATL’s gang issues really do run that deep, so it’s not impossible that something like that can occur. Again, you aren’t black so you have no business even contributing to this conversation. I’m pretty sure you don’t have this same energy toward Alaska, which is the most violent state in the US. Go back to the coonye sxn and the Donald trump thread

black lives matter movement (2 the best of my knowledge) was initially designed specifically to address the way murders of black folks by police was treated in this country

it has since branched out and kinda encompassed other issues, but the fact that cops were getting away with it and still are, is one of the main points

if someone (not a cop) kills someone else, they're much more likely to go to jail than a cop who has the police union's resources to protect them

read my updated OG post. i fully support what you are saying man. the problem is with the fact that these initiatives led by black people to counter gang violence is not supported ENOUGH by the news and America

yes, exactly. and i agree. i want to see a change in the gun violence in our cities though and that comes with more support for these movements that help curb violence

from my view i think fixing it economically would take away from people's desperation for resources because we have a pretty damn predatory economic system and the discrimination increases when u move the focus to black folks and other marginalized ppl

If you go through my thread/post history, I’ve mentioned anti blackness in asian/latino communities multiple times but those threads either get locked or I get temporarily muted because “only white ppl can be bad to us”

oh yes of course, i said earlier in the thread that we need to keep our black dollar IN our community. the fact that we continue to support these other races who purposely build in the black community decreases our chances of uplfitment. we must buy black. simple as that.

This is a good thread op dw.

All the lgbtq people literally came with black on black crime energy when discussing BLM so this is allowed now

And yes, literally going "HOW CAN YOU SAY BLACK LIVES MATTER WHEN YOU NIGGAS DONT RESPECT TRANS LIVES" is unironically black on black crime energy.

    Dont be a hypocrite

    Just saying too,

phrasing when talking about this type of s*** is key,

You could have good intentions and say something wrong and then everybody's on your ass.

  • I never said they had it coming. Why are you trying to twist my words to fit your anti black narrative? I merely said it’s possible due to Atlanta’s deep gang culture. With all this said, you still have completely ignored my points about Breonna Taylor and Philando Castile being unjustifiably murdered

And you keep saying last post but you have no business contributing to this discussion in the first place. Foh p****.

Man has a great discog, but that doesn't take away from the fact he's a narcissist who doesn't know s*** about how politics can affect people, especially those pushed by his daddy trump.

Its so conflicting this man is complicit in so much hate by supporting DT. trump literally retweets white power s*** and refuses to condemn white supremacy

It sucks when u connected with an artist/creator and they just completely lose you.

But if you want a srs answer.

Black on black crime is used to mitigate or shy away from issues of police brutality. Often arguing that the disproportionate rates of crime justify the disproportionate policing and leveks of violence

However since LGBTQ people literally popped up with black on black crime energy. Idk how long this is gonna last
