You realize how many people’s great grandparents, grandparents, etc either were slaves or had slaves? You need to stop acting like this stuff was super long ago. that’s literally what they advocate for, the same thing with CRT they are now using it to stop teaching a lot more about black history & injustices among POC specifically. Which is very scary because there are things to this day at 23 i’m still learning about events that sound much more damaging to black people as a community than what we were taught in school, so imagine taking even more education away about this part of history
