when you work a regular job you do your own job
when youre a self employed person you do

• administrative work
• deal with manufacturers
• do your own taxes/liase with accountants
• alot of time run your own social media
• social media comes with paying accounts influencers to do stuff
• deal with shipping your own products
• bookeeping/invoicing
• you take all the risk for any lawsuit/issue

in offices you guys work usually they split these jobs up with atleast 4-3 people 1 person has to do all this work self employed

self employment goes beyond a 9-5 you be working on saturdays and sundays
all yall gotta do is flip burgers and go home relax
