Kaiserschmarrnmany self employed fellas not working their ass off. Youre generalizing. There are also lots of jobs where you are employed but it is plenty stressful. It both has its ups and downs.

For real though. Like respect because they were able to make a living off just doing what they like, but the ones that make a big deal about how much work they put in... c'mon lol

Like I can understand it being mentally taxing having to entertain hundreds to thousands of people for like 3-4hrs but like...these people are normally in a comfortable ass chair, in the comfort of their homes, with access to food, drink, etc whenever they feel, and the power to mute, block, report spammers/trolls. They get to make their own schedule and they don't even have to be good at the games they play. They just have to be entertaining enough to keep the following. And when the following is majority 10-16 year old kids...oooh goddamn it's gotta be hard af keeping them entertained
The hardest part of streaming is just being consistent with your schedule, once you hit it big.

Like the people make those let's play kinda videos be doing way more work than streamers cause they gotta record themselves playing the games well, then they have to edit the recordings, which means normally sitting through and watching 2-3hrs of playback to figure out when and where edits have to be made, correcting recording errors/glitches/etc, including other graphics within the video to make it as informative as it can be. Also you gotta do some research on the game you're playing in order to explain the secrets and other mechanics.
When it comes to streaming you literally sit on your ass playing a game and all you gotta do is talk. You don't even have to talk about the damn game

vaylacontent creation is extremely difficult. for every streamer you see with 1000 viewers, there are 1000 streamers with 1 viewer.
content streaming is hard to build a following for. especially when the focus is on the content, not being a titty streamer.
