when i was younger this humbled me when i first heard it and still makes me respect everyone that works for themselves, not that i don't respect everyone but self employed people really be doing everything by themselves and it takes 90% of their day away from them.

Well I think self employed people who have also worked as employees would have a better idea of what is more challenging.

to me mental work is always more tiring than physical. I've been outside all day doing work and I get done and I still have energy.

on the flip side I've done more mental work with computers and stuff and when I'm done I'm just drowsy as hell ready to nap it up anywhere

Streamers click "Go Live" and boot up a video game and play it for 4 hours, talk over it, and call it 'hard work"

Like I can understand it being mentally taxing having to entertain hundreds to thousands of people for like 3-4hrs but like...these people are normally in a comfortable ass chair, in the comfort of their homes, with access to food, drink, etc whenever they feel, and the power to mute, block, report spammers/trolls. They get to make their own schedule and they don't even have to be good at the games they play. They just have to be entertaining enough to keep the following. And when the following is majority 10-16 year old kids...oooh goddamn it's gotta be hard af keeping them entertained
