I was scared of AI until it occured to me that Allah is the Lord of all worlds. Take that as you will, while religiously you could very well advocate against AI, we shouldn't be too scared if you build a connection with your higher power who has the real control over what happens, ya know?

im thinking shorter than that. like 3-5 years. ong with all these mass layoffs, really not that hard for robotics and AI to take over.

It depends on how you present it. Have ingenuity, be creative and entertaining, and provide value in a way that doesn't disrupt the flow of an organic KTT thread.

and s*** maybe i overestimate us but it feels like there’s a massive understatement of what we the people will and have the ability to allow or stop.

i think i read a theory about how eventually artificial intelligence will loop so far ahead of human cognition that it will lead to planetary devastation or extinction of humanity as we know it.

something like man creates an ai unit that passes the turing test and surpasses us intellectually. that machine then eventually creates its own form of ai that can surpass it's possible capabilities, which then eventually creates another machine that su== and naturally this could be an infinitely long cycle

our only way to counteract this would be transhumanism
