Wouldn't leave is better than anything on vultures or jik
lol if you said Ghost Town you’d have somewhat of an argument but Wouldn’t Leave aged like milk

It’s gotta be JIK. Ye did like 3 albums at the same time as ye so it’s understandable why it suffered. But JIK
The live instrumentation, the choir, like this era had all the potential to be one of his greatest but Kanye missed the mark. It still has great songs like selah and use this gospel but as an album it’s his weakest.
Probably the biggest disappointment of an album next to the big day imo (obviously not as bad) son really went out of his way to f*** up JIK
What if Ghost Town was left on KSG as originally intended? Makes ye much worse and KSG much better. I wonder if he realized ye didn’t have anything memorable, and had to jack it from the better album to salvage ye.

I do enjoy a lot of JIK. I think it has some great highs. But I 100% agree with this. Durring the entire rollout and SS era I was so hyped that we were finally getting that crazy ambient choir album with beautiful melodies and instead we got a lot of half baked ideas
Even the SS albums sounded better than JIK. In the 032C interview after Donda he talked about the Emmanuel EP and said he’s trying to make more choir music with less words and just doing vocal s***….
And he keeps not doing that
The biggest flex Kanye could ever do is make a 10/10 album with no lyrics and esoteric chanting and vocal arrangements over crazy instrumentals. I know he could but this mans really has the biggest itch to say s*** all the time.
With that being said JIK is the worst because it missed some crazy opportunities that were already in front of him that I feel was too obvious.
Ye for sure is the worst. Its a depressing, mental illness album. Production was mostly uninspired. Even ghost town, one of his best song in recent memory, is f***ing depressing looking back.
V1 might be lyrically awful, but it’s got a lot of energy. Great ideas. Love the anarchist vibe. I would like less Carti on 2 and 3. I wouldn’t mind another rich the kid verse if it lands the way carnival did.
top 3 worse
