Why do you think it’s s***ty that people who learned in-demand skills are able to live comfortably? It makes sense to me.
I know plenty of people who came out of poverty this way, myself included
I think it’s s***tier that people who work essential jobs don’t even make enough to live just because their jobs aren’t “in demand.” Of course it’s good that people make enough to live but the bigger picture is that this is a very small subset of the workforce that is extremely reliant on everyone else
Does condo count as a house?
If you’re working to own it then it’s just the same.
manager..
If I could afford to pay it off within 5-10 years or sooner, hell yeah.
Worst case scenario you could rent it out and live somewhere cheaper.

But engineers are really good at math! They're the smartest!
I could get a nice loft/condo in or a run down house in Denver right now
But I'm gonna wait a little before I decide what to do
Them niggas don’t even make money until they’re in their 30s. Too much school + debt
Me with my house at 28 as a nurse

Do your due dillegence when investing in condos
Who doesn’t need to build wealth?
Yeah I'm not into money like that. I'll just make whatever I need in order to live and provide comfortably.
Like I'll get a house because I gotta family. Not as some sort of future investment. If I'm able to sell it and make alot of money off it in the future, cool, but that ain't the end all be all. I'm just lookin to put a roof over the heads of my kin

Well nursing’s not a lot of school. Was thinking of medical/dental/pharmacy school
It's a wise investment if you have the money, but if you don't, there's absolutely no reason to do it
