2 is my favorite Souls game, no joke. no game with powerstancing can ever be considered bad

2 has some big flaws but is is still a good action rpg overall. At least compared to most popular games

Lol what the f*** fam. No they arent, both of those DLCs are way worse than the DS2 DLCs.

What a contrarian take.

The DS2 DLCs give several weapons, armor sets, and items. Is composed of 3 long as f*** interconnected DLCs that expand the story and connect to the main game (Yes like Artorias).

Artorias DLC is good but... The other DLC package is literally 3 decent DLCs with fun level design and s***loads of bosses (Usually 1 trash optional boss every DLC tho tbh). Also a fun NPC invader who does silly s*** throughout.

The Ringed City is garbage, first and foremost. The only good bosses are Midir and The Demon Princes.

The other DLC in 3 that you neglect to mention is even f***ing worse. Utter garbage with a garbage Bloodborne NPC as a boss and Sif 2.
And the stories for those DLCs are way worse than the stories for DS2's DLCs.

DS3s DLC is about getting the dark soul for these mid painted worlds and then going to the ringed city to beat the brix off a dude via time travel.

I have never given less of a s*** about a Souls DLC package than I did 3s.

Meanwhile 2s DLC set runs along the train of thought that makes New Vegas' DLC a must have addition to the game. In fact, its arguable if theyre even DLCs. They should just be included into the base game.

And I count 2's DLC as a whole package since theyre all interrelated to the base game.

Tl;dr
DS2 DLC package isnt even just good for the Souls series. That DLC formula of 3 connected DLC sets in new expansive worlds is a good idea for any game.

i wasn't expecting the dlc in 2 to be that good tbh, i got to the sunken city or whatever and that s*** was amazing, i think its my fav of the 3 but they're all so good, and the 2nd had two of the series' best bosses, Fume knight & sir alonne >>>>>

dark souls 2 is by far the worse souls game.

Yeah the DS2 base game is mid(Literally the worst Souls game) and SOTFS is only a little bit better. However, the DLC and the setup for that DLC is great.

People who try and s*** on DS2's DLC are seriously bugging. DS2's DLC is better than the base game and is long as s*** compared to other DLC packages.

It has quality and quantity and DS3's DLC is definitely the weakest out of the Soulsborne series with Bloodborne being the best and 2 coming a close second..
