not everybody is gonna be lebron or usain bolt, regardless of how much they try, same way you cant train to be or rap like wayne.its a gift, natural, talent, voice etc. are all factor.

yachti already been punching above his weight class in terms of expectations most had from him when he came into the game. he doing good.

hot boys debuted in 97 and he wasnt the best rapper alive version of lil wayne until 06

he famously put in an extreme amount of hours to become a more impressive rapper, he’s the perfect example of skill and determination being a bigger factor than natural talent

the beat in the beginning was good, didnt like the second half

The verse is fine but Yachtys voice is too overpowering for the beat, you dont really get the full effect of the sample

there is nothing that yachti could do to be able to kill every feature like wayne did for years

his story or upbringing will also never be as interesting as jays or 50s

there is only so much you can train, wayne was able to do it because its easy for him. the moment you have to "'rain' and really put in the extra effort and do more than you are able it comes off as fake

if it was that easy to train or change your voice all rappers would come in with the presence, pronunciation and delivery of drake, the wordplay of wayne or the flow of andre3k

eminem has lost a lot of places in the cultures top rappers because he turned into a try hard, focusing on fast rapping a bunch of bs. nice but doesnt help you if the overall package is lacking

Disagree with this. You can definitely train to be a better rapper and get up to their level. Can't compare rapping to sports because there's not much physicality associated with writing bars. Yachty still younger than hov when he dropped Reasonable Doubt
