Also I’m rewatching AOT rn and one thing that stands out is how much eren has stayed the same. He’s always been vengeful and protective it’s just the series shifted where his aggression is placed as he learns the truth of his situation
Whereas people act like deku is this crybaby who never gets s*** done when the series has actually showed time and time again he’s the exact opposite of that so I’m not sure why that perception sticks so much

Yeah I get that with eren. Again the themes of the shows are so massively different and the execution of the characters follows that. Like cannibalism is literally a primary story element in AoT lmao that’s dark as s***, not everything needs to go there.

Apr 5, 2021Show completely lost me in S4. Just doesn’t engage me. It’s not the shows fault, I just don’t think its aim is to appeal to people in their 20’s. It’s an all ages show.

Agree on your comment about Eren, I felt like around the 5th episode it seemed like he was a totally different person, but after the season finale, he's definitely still kinda the same.
