to be fair he has done a great job before and likely signed a NDA to not say much until now
No, he really hasn’t. His track record is s***
I mean it actually is partly not his fault. The whole "5 years of production" thing people keep spouting about means nothing when you consider how COVID basically destroyed the industry during that timeframe and some of that time is spent on pre-production. They ain't spending 5 whole years to animate. Then add in the fact that Adult Swim genuinely has no power here, the real boss is Warner Brothers, and if WB is giving them an ultimatum, then their hands are tied.
Quality = talent + time. Warner Brothers decided they didn't want to give them more time.
true. agree with all this really.
realistically now i wonder when they started animating.
I imagine they were still crunching even this year smh
Unions in animation cant come soon enough

An executive producer (EP) is a top-level role in the production of media, such as films, television shows, commercials, theater performances, and web series. Their responsibilities include:
Securing funding
EPs are responsible for finding the financial support needed for a production, which can involve pitching ideas to investors, negotiating deals, and managing the budget.
Developing the creative vision
EPs work with the director and other key members of the production team to shape the script, make casting decisions, and guide the project's overall direction.
Managing the production
EPs oversee the day-to-day operations on set, including making final editorial and legal checks, and ensuring safety.
Building relationships
EPs build and maintain relationships with investors, sponsors, donors, presenters, commissioners, legal advisors, and the media and communications team.
Providing leadership
EPs lead all departments from the top, take responsibility for decisions and outcomes, and communicate with stakeholders.
Meeting stakeholder expectations
EPs keep stakeholders informed about the production's progress and ensure that their expectations are met.
Idk man he seems to have a heavy handed role in his position for AS unless there is proof that he just hires and fires with a limited budget then f***s off.

On a scale of 1-10, how scary is this s***?
As someone that’s read the manga it’s more disturbing than scary tbh.
2nd episode quality drop is real
Yeah, but in all honesty, I still thought it was good. I haven't read the manga though. I read and watched all of the criticism for the second episode, so maybe my expectations were at an all time low. It wasn't as bad as what people lead it out to be in my opinion.

Yeah it was still enjoyable tbh. That first episode was just stellar.
