    This is the "best era for anime EVER" only to people with small points of reference

    Please read up for like 5 minutes the history of the animation industry and tell me which era you would consider better when it comes to high quality productions, workers rights, output, fair job market etc.

    Literally never claimed that every production today was healthy.

    We wont always know if a production is healthy . We only know about Mappa because they outsource alot. Since many animators do freelance work for them they can also be very vocal about s***ting on their employer. Productions that are more done in house we dont get that info.

    But my point is that in the current era with the industry making alot of money internationally and a rising awareness about the terrible practices in the industry. Alot more studios are making an effort to show their projects run a healthy schedule than they did in the past.

    Not to put words in his mouth, but some people point this out today with the variety of genres and type of light novels and mangas that are picked up today vs 15 years ago.

    I am not optimistic at all about the working conditions btw which is why I said many productions even outside of obvious cases like Mappa are still unhealthy.

    But I still fail to see what era was better. So I dont know why everybody on my ass for saying that the industry never did better.

    But nah, episode 1 is great, 2 horrendous, 3 pretty alright, 4 is a mix, it's worth a watch despite the craziness
