What's everyone been growing?

The only crops I grow ATM are Ginger and Tumeric but they were kinda set and forget.

I had spring onions at one point but I had no knowledge of soil compatability before i started so only a couple were successful

Newbie tips:

Do your research on what you're going to grow on. If you have land available, get to know your soil, your climate zone etc. This can provide you direction in selecting plants/crops

Start native, plants that are local to your area will most likely be a lot more hardier and tolerate your local conditions

I'm really thinking of getting into horticulture courses , because of the pandemic It's become more of a priority to be self sufficient. We already have a silverbeet and Pumpkin garden out back which has been successful.

Yeah bro my family uses a lot of ginger so I might try growing that too, apparently it's all year round

I used to grow sunflowers when I was 19 and 20 then I got too busy with life.

Hopefully I can get back into it one day.

I've took care of an orchard, come harvest time is always a good memory
