i just have some indoor trees and a vine im tryna grow big.
A Yucca tree and something else. My little tree was starting to die so I repotted it yesterday in a bigger pot. I noticed the roots were looking a little tight in it's starter pot so hopefully it has more room to breath now.

bro everything is blooming and its got me so happy

my grapevine is flourishing. imma let dude grow real good this season and not allow any grapes to produce tho I want that mfer to just grow UP and STRONG. next growing season I'll let some grapes happen

my usual patch of sunflowers is popping up too, hoping I can get an even taller one than last year (dude was 12 ft!)

think imma give the classic 'three sisters' thing a shot in my bigger raised bed. I want corn man!

Been harvesting some radishes to use in salad lately. Corn, squash, and tomatoes coming up nice, have like 100 sunflowers going too lmao. Also just put up the mosquito netting and lighting in our front veranda so the vibes is immaculate.

I'd love to do some gardening once I retire. Living off-grid with my dog, out and about.

    peach

    pear

    goji berry

    tomatoes

    toad

especially excited about the toad because that means its one of the ones we raised from tadpoles last year or one of the few transplants we got, either way toads eat cockroaches and other pests so its lit

I would recommend just thinking about what you want to do with your garden first

Do you want to just make it look pretty or do you wanna grow crops?

Most things are youtube-able or you can google it. IMO best thing to do is just pick a few young native ornamental shrubs (just google your local council area name + "native plants"). Learn how to put them into the dirt, the basics on soil, watering and sunlight etc. Once they get a little bigger you can prune for the first time and even take cuttings to grow multiples of the shrubs.

Obviously you don't have to restrict yourself to that. While the shrubs get established you can pick a few seeds for vegetables to grow and see how that process plays out :)

My garden went neglected for months... I just waged war on all the weeds that took over I know they'll be back though

My ginger and tumeric that I buried got so f***ing big but the leaves are dying now, they're all yellow. Aloe vera is doing fine. Chinese lanterns need to be pruned. The rest got suffocated by weeds or died from neglect so I'm basically starting anew.

2 months ago I got myself a Mimosa, really cute plant, didn't knew I would get to see her bloom so fast, I don't know much about plants but here she is, triple in height than when I got her
