and 1 week ago I got her another companion, a Zelkova bonsai
now I have to start learning stuff about bonsais and how to take care of them
2 months ago I got myself a Mimosa, really cute plant, didn't knew I would get to see her bloom so fast, I don't know much about plants but here she is, triple in height than when I got her
The rate in which some of these grow man I had a butterfly bush that went haywire over spring, I even took cuttings and lined them up all along my fence and they caught up just as quickly

Update?
Update?
I cut a bit of it to make it look cleaner, as for the size there is no update yet, lol
I also cut the mimosa and I'm trying to replicate it so I have a mini forest of these, so I cut a stem 2 times and now I have 2 stems in a water glass, but I don't see rooting yet, hope I'm not doing it wrong

I love this thread!
I have a few succulents and a lot of fake plants. I'm planning on adding more hanging plants like pothos and hoyas to my apartment, but my mother who is really passionate about gardening always manages to talk me out of getting real plants and just invest in fake ones since I want to have them hanging off the ceiling and areas that are hard to reach.
I have this bonsai tree I got for Christmas but it looks like it's dying? Should I be using the recommended food for it?

what species of plant is it? Is it a harsh winter where you are?
if i wanted to get into gardening, where would i start?
go to bunnings or a local plant nursery check the tags, read the descriptions (ideally find something that's low maintenance), find something tha suits your conditions
and look at the plants under the local section, those are usually easier to take care of
