according to my sleep tracker for the past 5 years i’ve been averaging 6.5hrs of sleep
i don’t really nap, and my sleep times are all over the place. sometimes midnight sometimes 5am
apparently people used to have two sleeps in a night, could be why you wake up and then can’t get back to sleep

no it would be for like a few mins go back to it then wake up another 3-4 hrs in but its getting better
It’s all about what you’re used to. You feel that way cus 5 hours isn’t your norm so ofc you feel off
For me I been getting 5-7 since I was in high school pretty much so it’s my baseline.
I can’t fw wasting away over a third of the day sleeping. That extra 3 hours a day adds up and gives you just a little more time to be productive, entertain yourself, do whatever. It’s great
well you're physical health and cognitive functioning are objectively worse than if you slept 8 hours. you've just gotten use to being in that state.
I imagine most ppl here aren’t sleeping 9hrs lol. That’s for old folks

I sleep like 3-5 hours. 5 hours is a good nights rest for me. I only ever sleep 7-8 when I'm sick in bed.
