ngl, for someone who's whole gimmick is that anyone that disagrees with him is white, this is the whitest a***ysis I've ever seen of lyrics from a song you clearly skimmed through.

I wonder why you didn't copy the Stic.man verse right before this?

Like I said, I'm not doing this with you. Especially when most of your hip hop hot takes in general are trash lmfao.

"Nigga, the red is for the blood in my arm, the black is for
The gun in my palm and the green is for the traum
That grows natural like locks on Africans
Holding the smoke from the herb in my abdomen
    Camouflage fatigues and dashikis, somewhere
    In between N.W.A and P.E
I'm black like Steve Biko, raised in the ghetto by the people
F*** the police (“Fuck the Police”)—you know how we do"

I repeat: This is NOT deeper than anything Pac or Nas has said.

    Happy now?

    Yeah.

You don't listen to hip hop like that. lol.

Nigga has yet to define "deeper" and really thought that light ass verse was deeper than s*** pac and nas said. Deadprez is not lupe fiasco where they reach for intricate meanings. Their s*** is straight to the point and the message is direct. It's the same approach pac used

I'm not big on Kendrick outside of anything before GKMC (and Rigamortus) . I gotta get hip to his old stuff

His old s*** is cool but he’s evolved so much since then it’s almost like he’s a completely different artist now

Bruh leveled tf up on every release since I first heard him it’s crazy

Mainly revisit his old s*** for nostalgic purposes. If you like his music you should check it out though. It’s nice to go back to see how far he came. Few of the tracks still hold up well

S80 was when he really became the Kendrick we know today imo

Polo g and Kodak black both have conscious rap songs. Hell a lot of their subject matter is socially conscious. Chance the rapper as well

Then to a lesser extent you got g herbo and cordae

I think he mean someone who wasn’t in the streets. Typical face of alt hip hop artists. Unfortunately Cordae is ok. He’s not above average talent imo. Not charismatic IMO.

    The Darkest Angel

Yall don't really listen to what artists like Lil Baby or Polo G be saying? Conscious rap is safe with them and they don't rap over boom rap beats

The real question is based on production and image. Backpack type. Doesn’t have to be boom bap but has to have more variety like Drake’s production for example. People like to overrate Drake but he’s always kept that balance like Kanye in albums of hot singles and leaving room for songs that are more artistic than just bangers that are second tier to the hits of the album imo.

i think polo g could be something amazing next album or two

Terrible take calling polo G a potential conscious rapper lol, the dude is busy rapping about trying to boost the murder rate.

They're all stars but no one of them is a superstar except maybe Cardi?

Superstar is more like Eminem Drake Kendrick Kanye Wayne Cole Travis etc.. huge fanbase, well established icons, can sell out arenas, etc
