Check out what James Blake is doing. I think it is smart imo but idk who else would follow suit.
It was a matter of time until someone made something for the artists to gain money from their unreleased stuff, specially with the whole leak market

True i’d rather it go to something like this if the artist can profit off of it directly. Label issues has to be throwing a wrench in it tho for many.
Paying for music that an artist already deemed not valuable enough to be released ? Yeah I'm out.
And the whole thing is bullshit. In this economy, if someone subscribes to only two artists on this thing he's already being priced out of a streaming service subscription, monthly. I'm all for artist empowerment but not when the butt of the joke are the fans. Artists need to start understanding that between them and the fans one side needs its money way more than the other.
So they either come with a solution that f***s the true culprits here (labels, streaming services...) or they just need to shut the f*** up tbh.

its pretty stupid but hip hop stans of like playboi carti and ye would eat that s*** right up
...it's just OnlyFans for music? It's a paywall?
"Unreleased" would just be branding at that point.
Crine so this is like a kind of bandcamp but less good and you have to pay a subscription to access it? Great stuff
would be interested if more artists would join

Most of them already getting that s*** for free tbh

before this music would be on throwaway mixtapes but since mac got sued and streaming it’s been dicey
Doesn't this mean it is no longer unreleased and actually released
Fair point but bringing songs that otherwise would be vaulted to fans who are really interested in said artist
