Drake hate is only on the internet. It’s been a meme for like 15 years.
It’s really not bro if you walk up on a random black dude that likes rap he’s bound to say Drake a b**** and that’s not my opinion that’s me speaking from experience in several interactions
Females and other races def giving him more of a pass though so we’ll see what happens with the numbers
Well ya boy out here suing the biggest DSP in the world.
Surely that is gonna affect future stream numbers.
Is him doing that really out of the realm of possibility?
Who knows. That’s why I brought it up lol
Even eminem turned into legacy act. Still does numbers and s***,mark my words that's what's awaiting drake he about to turn the big 4-0
And now he got spotify and the machine that been inflating his numbers all along mad
So what’s your expectations number wise so I can quote you when you’re wrong?
People still trying to keep drake the number 1 rapper when he's almost 40 is like niggas trying to keep 50 cent hot in the 2000s
It’s the streaming era dawg. Drake still being #1 is carryover from him being the #1 rapper of the 2010s by a landslide (and also a symptom of the genre being in the gutter in the mainstream all 2020s)
Think about it this way, if streaming had becoming commonplace in, say, 2005, Eminem would’ve been #1 in total streams every year up until like 2014/2015. That wouldn’t mean he was still the #1 guy in those later years
I don’t think eminem would’ve been the most streamed artist up until 2014 and 15
Also yall said drake has fallen off since 2016. Which year should we expect for him to not be #1 anymore then?

He absolutely would’ve. He was still leading in sales by a landslide up until that point, and that was pre-streaming. 2015/2016 is when Drake truly took over as the #1 biggest rapper.
People say Drake has fallen off creatively since 2016. His commercial peak was from 2016 to 2022

Age has nothing to do with being the hottest out. Especially when there is no young generation to point to that is ready for the top yet

You gotta account for the amount of pirating that went on around that era too
Drake stans itt in denial and spiraling
I got the schizo and the s*** posts both gyrating
Drake stans itt in denial and spiraling
Smacked Voodoo 𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐭

Yes it does. Stop getting your music opinions from the Internet and talk to people outside. They like newer acts. The majority of people who make hip-hop what it is culturally are not just strict drake/Kanye stans like on ktt. People don't want to hear drake make the same type of music niggas was bumping in 2016. His formula is just old at this point

Having a forum that you can't upload files too should be a warcrime

No one said that, but it literally peaked during the time when Em was outselling everyone with ease. If anything he was hurt from it too.
2005 was the peak of music piracy
