Anybody still holding out hope for DB to have good writing is wishful thinking. That shipped sailed with the Cell Saga. What keeps me interested now is the fan-fic aspect, comedy, and fights. If I want story and world building I'll read One Piece or something else.

Yeah I don't even care about the story. People get so upset over dragon ball's inconsistent story. They don't even realize that Dragon ball went corporate 20 years ago when GT was created. Everything now is for marketing purposes. While I do believe Toyotoru wants to produce a good story, let's be honest they only care about the video games and merchandise. New transformations, attacks, and new characters with transformations sell a ton of money. Nobody even noticed that these new forms and attacks have been getting put into video games faster than animated. The story is secondary.

Just give me a fluid fight and a spectacle and I'm good.

You think Return of Cooler is the worst? Shiiiiiit bio-broly is probably one of the worst anime movie ever made. Return of Cooler at least have some good fighting in it.

Android 13 and Return of Cooler are the ugliest movies in the series. On top of mid stories that don’t make any sense. The first Cooler one of my favorites so I never liked what they did with him in the sequel

I Thought the return of Cooler story is probably the most believable movie story next to wrath of the dragon. Cooler was shot into the sun and was saved by the Big Getti star. It took what was left of him and made bio cyborgs of him. Makes a hell of a more sense than Fusion Reborn story. Now I will say Return of Cooler has those bad far shots.

He won't be. Frieza is done as the villain. He's more so being used as a reason why Goku and Vegeta has to keep training.

Not going lie that was a dope twist Toyotoru did to make it that Frieza is now the strongest and people swore Broly was going to be the one to save Goku and Vegeta.

Can't even lie the last fight with Goku and Gas was kind of fire. It was reminiscent of DB and Z with the paneling.

History of trunks and Bardock>>>> the rest. Hell in some ways they re better than the show itself as far as stakes, not taking turns fighting one on one, lack of plot armor etc etc
