Encore is both underrated and overrated by different groups of people.

The truth is even the “good” songs on Encore are below the good songs on TES and MMLP.

Encore does have its charm though. It’s a nice look into the psyche of a broken, insecure man. Besides that awful beat on My 1st Single and the bodily fluid noises it’s one of the most sonically pleasing rap albums out there.

The mixing is insane.

This album is to me the signature Eminem/Interscope sound. The foolery songs, the real rap songs, the emotional songs, the political ones and the dark orchestra beats. Mixing is perfect. Features all did their thing too. Cover is iconic too. And it’s the start of the coveted Eminem Jordan run. People don’t get how iconic the Encore 4s are. Travis basically tried to recreate them lmao.

Never thought I’d see the day ICP sucked Marshall’s cock wild … also add We as Americans and Love More and maybe add Bully to replace some songs and you have a solid record but eh relapse >>>>>>
