Never did said it works for everybody...

Dude was asking for help with insomnia and I recommended weed.
Works for a lot of people even if your against it for whatever reason.

He doesn’t have to take the advice if he don’t want to. But it does help a lot of people and that’s been proven.

I have mild insomnia here’s what helps me:

    -Exhaust yourself in the day
    -Don’t eat right before bed
-No electronics 2 hours before bed
-Stay away from your bed unless you’re sleeping

Also you could try listening to some ambient sounds. Haven’t tried that but it wouldnt hurt to try

    Hope you figure it out.

It’s basically a set of protocols to train your body to use your bed for sleep, but since you’ve had so many sleepless nights in bed, your body uses the bed as a place to worry or anything else but actually sleep.

There are my notes I took

Bed - only use for sleep and s***You should fall asleep in 10-15 minutes
If you don’t fall asleep in 15 minutes, get out of bed and room and do something peaceful and quiet. Read a book, listen to music, etc but no screens
    Go back to bed
If you can’t sleep repeat until you fall asleep in 10-15
    No naps
Being tired the next day will help reset the pattern
Keep doing this until you consistently fall sleep in 10-15 minutes
Some people takes about 4 days to get into a routine, some 7-10

    Most effective treatment for insomnia
    More effective than medications

Go to bed within an hour of sleep time, wake up same time every day

I was averaging 3-4 hours of sleep. Tried all types of supplements. The behavior therapy is the only thing that worked. And it actually worked.

It’ll take a while for the body to be retrained but I hope this can provide you the relief it did me
