no offense to you but i'm different
as someone that’s been counting calories and losing weight for 6+ months now my only advice is be realistic, if you try to go too hard too fast you’ll fail, it’s about figuring out a plan that you can stick to long term.

Bike is good, easier on your knees
my downfall was fizzy drinks and crisps (potato chips), sticking to water only when drinking and cutting out crisps has helped me massively as well as intermittent fasting! good luck bro👊🏻

You don’t have to worry about going hungry like when you’re calorie counting because the high fat diet fills you up. Won’t need more than 3 meals a day anyway.
And you don’t have to deprive yourself of delicious foods. Win win if you do it properly and build in exercise.

I don’t know the exact science but I’m pretty sure restricting calories can actually have the opposite effect - something like it causes the body the release more insulin maybe? Google it, I could be wrong
