This album... is aging a little poorly. I actually sympathize with Anthony Fantano a little bit. There’s a lot of songs that stretch on too long. One thing I really appreciate about Yeezus, and even his later work, is nothing feels wasted. You’re not thinking, I’m ready for this to move on to the next musical idea, you’re just IN the music. MBDTF is the thirty minute drum solo. I just feel like other Ye albums have more flow. I’ll say it. The Runaway solo goes on too long. No one wants to listen to the Chris Rock skit. I wish Gorgeous had more instrumental change to justify the length.

    3rd best kanye album imo

LR and Yeezus are my favs

But its not #3 for me for the reasons you listed. Its #3 because theres some songs like AOTL & Monster i have no desire to hear ever.

Still an amazing album tho. Runaway & Hell of a Life still in my top 10 kanye tracks.

I def respect it. I think AOTL has just been way over played for me at this point.

AOTL & Monster i havent heard fully in many years. While Blame Game & Power i have to be in a very certain mood for. I dont think any of them are bad songs tho.

Hell of A Life, Runaway, DIAND, Lost in the World & Gorgeous are my top 5 off the album & i listen to them SO much.

But really i have a playlist of the album spliced in with certain Good Fridays tracks in an order that makes sense for me personally, that i listen to the most.

    Imagine disrespecting MBDTF

    Everything ages eventually!

I'm probably in the top two fiercest defenders of Yeezus on here, but you'll never see me disrespect MBDTF in the process.

    It's a classic.

Kids See Ghost is my 4th kanye album btw.

The only project i genuinely like from "modern" Kanye. And its a great Kanye album in general.

TLOP is ok while JIK & Ye are mostly bad to me besides two tracks each.

All his new stuff after Yeezus except KSG is bottom of his discog for me personally.

feel like post 2016 ye albums have been like semi retirement epilogue stuff anyway. JIK and Ye more of a personal musical snapshot of his mental state in that moment of time instead of legit actual projects.

Ar this point I'm not expecting anything else from him. If he gives me another amazing album like his first 6, great. But I just want him to be ok.
