Illmatic!

Love Ready to Die, one of the most enjoyable albums ever, but the beats and especially lyrics on Ilmatic are next level. Far more poetic and substantial. Plus like my good friend @Aftermath said R2D got one bad song and a nasty s***skit.. Illmatic is FLAWLESS. Sorry guys, Illmatic takes it.

RTD still one of my favourite albums of all time though... the mic presence, the story telling, the charisma but nothing is touching illmatic for me

Yeah bro one of my favs as well, top 3-5 for sure and still gets plays. Biggie was f***ing amazing.
