sugar actually acts on a certain area of the brain that stops you from feeling full, funny enough
it also throws your glucose levels all out of wack which will make your hunger hormones spike all over the place throughout the day
another great tip for controlling calories, chew the F*** out of ur food. Like get a minimum of 60 chews in before you swallow, and do that for every bite

The more you chew, the less you eat and the more satiated you feel is what I’ve learned, the difference is night and day

BRUH i weighted myself and i gained like 10 pounds im 210lbs wtf. This has shown me this diet has not been working as well as i wanted and i need to harder. Today i only had a:
Iced coffee
Bagel
Steak and cheese sub
Because i thought that'd be good for the day but definitely not if im still gaining massive weight like this
How? Have you not had a deficit every day? But as others said, it's time to make some other changes too. You're literally only eating junk, start replacing it with something that's at least remotely nutritious. Ditch a junk food every week for a healthy alternative as opposed to cold turkey because that might be easier. If you can't do that, you're in for a rough ride. Good luck

only thing is, i believe it makes you lose weight rather quickly, but that weight you lose is very easy to gain back if you stop doing the IF

Thats the thing i talked to a nutritionist and they said steak and cheese sandwiches were preferred because they provide balance between carbs, protein, and fat which was necessary for working out but i guess its the carbs thats holding me back, im probably just going to stick to vegan smoothies and flush out the fat that way

id worry more about modeating the good foos than just cutting them out.

I think those are fine but that was more directed at bagels, iced coffee etc. Those are a good start, but add some veggies & fruits you know?

Good thing being a nutritionist isn't dumb easy to do....oh wait yea that's right it's basically an e-certificate with no actual board or accreditation behind it.
Cop a dietician if ur gonna go that route bruv. Also what you're eating is very calorically dense. AKA you're eating a small volume of food for a large amount of calories. You'll feel fuller longer eating more vegetables since they're less calorically dense. Stuff like bell pepper and cucumber with hummus. Or sriracha style cauliflower 'wings'. Whole head of cauliflower is like 200 cals and that s*** will bust ya gut open with the volume. Feelin full as a mfer.
Start gettin ya sugar from fruit as well. Because your body has to process the fiber before accessing the sugar it's processed lower in your digestive tract and is better for ya body. And start making coffee at home if u haven't. A french press can make ur iced coffee and even sort of froth milk for a faux latte type thing.
Here are my rules when it comes to foods
When I eat at home, I only eat Whole Foods. Lean meats except for steak, raw veggies, fruits. The only carb-heavy food at home is Ezekiel bread.
The only time I eat out or eat something unhealthy is if i get invited out to eat with friends/family

cut out white bread completely for sure
look into like those really birkenstockcore breads u can get at whole foods like dave's killer bread or like ezekial bread as someone mentioned (or at least just standard whole grain) instead of white bread just bc it keeps u fuller longer and it has a lot of fiber in it
also bagel bread is rly calorically dense i rly would try to phase that out if i were trying to lose weight, or at the very least just scoop out half of the inner bready part to make a little trough for the filling to sit in
dave's killer bread also has some bagel bread but i honestly wld just cut out bagels entirely until your at the weight u want

Yeah, i have this app that counts the calories for me, which is why i was so panicked because ive been on at least a -1000 calorie deficit for the past week.
I drink a slim blend coffee thats around 5-10 calories, the steak and cheese usually clockes in around 664 cal, and the bagel with peanut butter is around 300 cal, and thats all i eat for sure because ever since ive started to count calories ive cut out sweets and snacks unless otherwise posted
