    For sure, stuff like World is Yours and One Love are really good examples of that but I feel like the best songs on PH resonates with my gen way more

    The way Nas approaches it isn’t worse I just think it’s less relateable

    Less relatable to certain people I guess

    I don’t relate to Pure Heroine much at all but I do like it, but there’s a lot of themes on Illmatic that relate to my own life and even inspire me with the way Nas was thinking

    Is this coming of age though?

    Lyrics relate far more to the guise of a women in their early 20's (similar to Melodrama) unlike Pure Heroine which is from a pretty clear adolescent mindset.
