really wanna see this again best movie i’ve seen in a while. i went in expecting something overly complex because of what people were saying but this easily his most straight forward film yet.

it's straightforward but also doesn't spoon-feed the audience every little thing

There’s just so many ways you can read this film.

I still think the main focus is spectacle. First thing the movie tells you. How people have to film everything even if it means putting your life in danger for clout and $$$. Us as viewers can’t keep our eyes off it. There’s Jupe, a character who makes a profit from the his own trauma.

    Such a great film.

Can’t wait to watch this again!

    So much to unload, pause.

i wouldnt say this was straight foreward, but i can tell the underlying message took a backseat to just making a fun horror film. and even tho it kinda suffers from the same problems as Us, just cuz it tried to be fun, i like it more than Us

    Exactly how I saw it

  • I thought it slapped

  • Keke’s costuming & prop design in the motorbike scene is really tight

Actually the costume/prop department went crazy in general

Just watched. Ehh. Had its moments (Gordy, alien kids prank, crowd abduction)

Lowkey made me appreciate Us more, and I wasn’t even a fan of that after the 1st half

    Shout out to Keke though

ya'll must be blind. Lakeith is the flashier actor but Kaluuya is the stronger actor. more subtle than eccentric

LaKeith and Daniel switching roles would not work out for Keith. Daniel would do all his roles better

I noticed I was holding my breath every time a Gordy flashback came on.

Like I was hiding from that motherfucker.
