MOTW was an honest and stupid mistake, but not connecting with this generation outside of Trolls, is a big issue. That's why some of his peers are outdoing him, because they have relevance within this generation.
as gen z the last time jt really mattered outside of entertaining babies or being made fun of was 2013 during the 20/20 era… 11 years ago when we was kids
he’s a legend but he’s got an uphill battle to prove he’s still worth keeping around and not just a relic from a diff era
I have been a fan since 98. I was 11 then and 36 now. Followed this man on his journey for years. Hell even watched him on the MMC!

how was the wait between FSLS and 20/20 Exp.? Was there always talks about a new album? Was there a point where you lost all hope (maybe during his 2011 film run)?

Off and on. He was really into being a movie star. I still supported but I honestly have not rushed to watch every film he was in. I have seen the main ones. He can't act tbh. It was a time that I thought he was over music. Then the cryptic posts about him dropping 20/20 came out.

This going triple platinum at weddings
What happened to fsls2
They probably decided to change the name, maybe direction too.
I think maybe it's a good sign, he is going to grow as an artist instead of trying to catch the old magic again. I mean even with Man of the Woods I think one of the selling points was that it's the same producers as on Justified.
listened to 20/20 while playing some game earlier man that’s like seriously an amazing album

Calvin Harris song was promising I have no idea why they split the outro though

I don't think FS/LS2 was actually a thing outside of creating hype. Honestly, Justin doesn't have that energy anymore to even carry a sequel of his best work.

It is! The type of album you can listen to without skipping.
I think this is the second song he will perform on SNL

Sounds like the album is going 100% pop/radio direction

Yup. I'm hoping for at least two R&B tracks, tho.
Partly his fault for going the MOTW route and also not coming out of hiding until he has a album or a soundtrack.
MOTW is underrated!!!!
