JT is not at an age where he is going to beat the current crop of pop stars in relevance. He should be looking to keep his current fanbase rather than trying to be the old man pretending he's hip

He already tried that the past couple years with doing features with some new artists and hopping on a remix with Jung Kook and doing a feature with Calvin Harris and no one gave a f*** about any of that

I think JT has a better discog and the better material. 8701 and Confessions are essentials but after that, its a p washed discog from Usher

That one's tricky but JT produces and Usher doesn't. They do just about everything else from singing, dancing, writing, acting, etc. but I think JT gave better acting performances and they're pretty even as singers and writers. Both very good dancers but Usher probably the better dancer.

Overall, I give the edge to JT for the fact he can produce and Usher can't
