Music that a few years ago you really connected with but when relistening to it after some time has passed it just doesnt click anymore
Could happen for many different reasons ofc but just had that experience with souvlaki by slowdive and i loved that album but out of nowhere i just dont 'feel' it anymore

on a positive note it's a good time 2 fall back in love with rap, mostly because of the slums movement
every metal album aside from "streetcleaner" by godflesh
led zeppelin discog
basically any type of music that i was pressured to like by society but didn't really f*** with at a deep level
that happened with Souvlaki with me too tbh
It's weird because now i appreciate Just For A Day even more, or at least it still hits... do you share a same experience?
To be honest lotta #rap nowadays ain't it bro.

i never liked Just for a Day that much in the first place

La Femme -Psycho Tropical Berlin ain’t hitting as it did before
im hard
MF DOOM discog
I stanned dude from like 14-18 and woke up one day and never listened again (aside from madlib instros/remixes etc)
Only time I can think of this happening to me really
I fell out of love with Kanye's music for a short while after JIK dropped. The fact that he could drop an album of that quality made me lose faith in his artistry and I didn't even want to revisit his older music for some time either
That coupled with his interviews around the time made me wonder if everything he's done on in the past was just a fluke and he wasn't the genius I thought he was
I don't feel that way anymore and I've been listening to his older music much more frequently, he's my favorite artist again
It was a dramatic reaction, I know but listening to JIK for the first time felt like losing a loved one that s*** hurt my soul
