where do y'all buy cool furniture/stuff for your homes that isn't crazy expensive (Ikea, Living Spaces)

these some auction finds

£45

£30, came with foot stool aswell, so comfy

£22

£14, huge roy lichtenstein canvas print that has been hand painted

this rug was £320 but its worth s*** loads, proper moroccan one and its 3 by 3 metres, huge

this was £20

got 2 of these for £40. italian salon chairs from the 70s, super comfy

this was £200

but yeah hope you dont mind the spam haha. assume US auctions will have similar good items in them, just gotta spend a lot of time searching for stuff because there are 1000s and 1000s of lots of garbage and every so often you will find gold. I am always checking thrift stores (we call them charity shops here) and I am always finding good stuff, lots of vases and soft furnishings and cups/plates ect

you might not like the actual painting but getting a large canvas 150x150cm that is hand painted for £14 is just nuts. auctions are the way to go for furniture and furnishings imo
