They don’t, and when people say they aren’t rappers it is what it is
djbooth.net/features/2018-10-29-juice-wrld-more-than-a-rapper
I think Juice himself would have agreed with me.
second post like this on this page, this is a new one
I think Uzi would say he could rap his ass off and someone just told me he disrespects the culture and doesn't call himself a rapper tho
Has Uzi honestly done that outside of 2016?
And I thought he was only doing that back when it was cool for old heads to just call his entire generation mumble rappers
I get the sentiment I guess but how can you love rap and not see them as artists
right, but that’s my point from my previous post - 9/10 of these songs are all recently released, beyoncé hasn’t released a major solo project in a couple of years
You keep missing two points
1. It doesn’t matter when she releases a project because those stations won’t play her anyway. They play old Ari and old Rih but can’t play old Bey?
2. Love on Top, Countdown, Drunk In Love, etc. all that s*** was only played on hip hop/R&B stations
Anything outside of the box and they say
what are you doing, you should go back to rapping. You are a rapper.
mad
aint nobody mad its just funny first of all u got drake and ye in your avy they would s*** on u for saying that, first of all
second of all u think u onto something calling bey music trash its def not trash solange better
may not be the best in the genre but i hope u got ur dopamine hit off calling her music trash
I get the sentiment I guess but how can you love rap and not see them as artists
Horrible example because I’m talking about the niggas that go on nterviews and clearly can’t rap more than the 5 same lines
We both know juice isn’t one of those
He be trolling bro lol
"I'm not a rapper though" is actually the final form of delusional rapper. It's incredible
I get the sentiment I guess but how can you love rap and not see them as artists
Not the point. Ice Cube or LL wasn’t like “I am more than a rapper. Don’t just call me a rapper “
I get the sentiment I guess but how can you love rap and not see them as artists
I guess it has now changed to rappers who make the conscious distinction to separate themselves and detach from the "rapper" title as a whole? That's what I've been gathering but I haven't been given any really strong examples to back it up
Has Uzi honestly done that outside of 2016?
And I thought he was only doing that back when it was cool for old heads to just call his entire generation mumble rappers
yeah idk @Darkest_Angel would have to help with that
“Shut up and rap” vibes
Anything outside of the box and they say
what are you doing, you should go back to rapping. You are a rapper.
that's not true imo
if anything people tell kanye for example he doesn't need to rap (especially not write his raps) cuz he is a great producer and can sing some notes
"I'm not a rapper though" is actually the final form of delusional rapper. It's incredible
Don't it just mean they want/can include more genres into their music?
