Yea I mean so many annoying posts on here are arguments over semantics without the terms ever defined but people have hate boners and attitudes over musicians and recording artists (a lot of whom do things outside of music/sound) calling themselves artist.

Some of Y’all so entitled sometimes wanting people to put constraints on how they describe themselves when they are right.

I also think sometimes we end up putting more thought into dumb takes than the person who makes the thread and then it’s like 20 pages devolving into other s***

It’s not the industry, it’s from comments I’ve seen on tiktok. One guy said “I’m from the hood but I have white friends” and the video had him dancing to Willow. All the comments were like “but she’s black too?”
