I'm been listening to this album all day. I really felt like he had hit every vibe of his discography so far with this project to the tee and made it more listener friendly than Flower Boy.

Better than IGOR but no better than Flower Boy

S*** was garbage. Sounded like Hidden NY. Almost shed rage tears when I saw faux-hot people applauding this joke of a project on twitter

My personal favorite Tyler album behind Wolf.

I think the album is bland and uninspired .

but with CMIYGL it put more eyes on him in the hip hop community

This is true, but I feel something about Call Me that felt more accessible to Flower Boy.

Flower Boy is more perfect sounding music, but Call Me feels like something that can easily introduce people to Tyler.

Maybe so. Call Me was just missing that one pop track imo, but it's neck with FB imo.

i definitely think he's far more authentic than SFFB and its a great introduction to him but FB is just so buttery smooth man

see u again is a pop smash
who dat boy is a straight banger
garden shed is a little left field but not too crazy
boredom is a great indie pop sound
foreword is some straightforward but very introspective bars

Wolf is his best work IMO

flower boy is more accessible imo

All of tylers last 3 albums were necessary in different ways in terms of solidifying him

CMIYGL solidified him as a rapper for a lot of people

I think his next album will be his peak in terms of status for him, im so excited for him

I really feel like his next album, he gonna get his first number 1 hit, I know he can do pull it off, but we just have to see where he goes next.

I always notice its certain type of people saying that and i dont mean it in a disrespectful way so please don’t take it as that

The album is really a direct homage to the rap music he always cited as an influence his whole career, the In My Mind Prequel and actual album, Lupe mixtape run, CRS era s*** it felt like his take on it and I’m not saying it has to be liked but i feel like anyone who grew up on the s*** he was referencing understood what he was doing clearly and it was def coming from a place of inspiration , strong inspiration too bc its the s*** he loved growing up

I feel that too, especially with the time he took to make it. I feel like the last 3 album run has been a build up to this moment

I feel like certain people take not getting the inspiration for something as being uninspired

Its very presumptuous to call something with clear inspiration uninspired
