started using the elliptical for this cut more and man, cutting feels so much easier.
Feels so effortless. Strongly recommend.
used the macrofactor workouts app for the first time last night, it was pretty cool. it asked me some basic questions about my current fitness level, what equipment i had access to, how long i wanted my sessions to be, how many sessions a week, any muscles i wanted to prioritize or deprioritize and then it generated a 6 week mesocycle 4 day full body program for me. i had to replace and change few movements but overall it created something that looks good to me
the library is pretty large and it has a ton of videos and really detailed descriptions but it doesn't allow you to create custom movements which kinda sucks. there was only one instance where the one i wanted wasn't available so i just picked the closest to it, not ideal but whatever
it's supposed to auto update with weight/reps every session and all that but it needs this first week to figure out my current strength level, so we'll see how it goes. i got a year of it for free since i already had a macrofactor sub so i figured i'd give it a shot

That 30 min 3mph 10 incline can't lose. HM calories you burning per session? Might try it. I'm usually around 250-270

did incline at 2.9-3.0 for about 20 mins after back workout at 6.5 incline level burned about 151 cal
gym was dead today idk if it was because of the weather or if everyone is sick but got to do more stuff like abductors and knee extensions

that's another good one. I used to do that. I like experimenting with different ones.

how many pull ups can everyone itt do? i mean real wide grip slow eccentric full ROM pull ups. i probably have 8 in me at any random point in time but on a good day i can crank 10. lighter bodyweight helps me i feel like, but anything more its struggle reps. i wanna get to a clean 14/15 this year just for personal bragging rights

10, but I can struggle to get to 12. I want to be able to do 30 pullups in one go at some point (doesn't need to be wide grip)

chin ups/neutral grip ones i can bang out over 10 easy when im in the flow of it for sure but i hit a hard ceiling with wide grip and always have, even at my peak teenage years. the idea of doing a strict 30 of any type would be legit insane that's a life goal fr. i think the secret is having a great core and keeping it engaged cus that helps so much with leverage. i never did that when i was younger lmao

yeah, 30 is kind of nuts, but I'm trying to do challenges this year to keep me moving forward.
I've been focusing on my core in general for posture and stuff with planks and bridges. I could see how it could help with pullups too.
I feel like the core is probably the most important muscle to exercise (helps with balance, coordination, and all the other muscles too)

you're so right bro. ignoring that is really coming to collect now that i'm a little older, i always put core on the backburner since i did sports too and figured working abs/core was superfluous in weight training (stupid). i would just throw on the inzer for my heavy squats/deadlifts and call it day smfh

i think the core and legs are mad important. i used to be obsessed about getting bigger arms, but that doesn't matter as much. the core and good legs will prevent future health problems than anything else.
stretching is also super important and something i'm doing more to protect my joints.
