Any tips for working out with covid? My dad tested positive and he's a cardiologist, told me I could get a heart attack if I work out But I don't wanna completely stop for 2 weeks, I at least wanna do some sit ups or something

Go light, get some blood flow going
That’s what my brother in law did when he was sick. Also sunlight if you can, open a window or something if possible
man praying for y'all srs, s***s been rocky here at times but i realize we got it good compared to the majority of countries. some states in aus like queensland and tasmania are pretty much holding full blown festivals and events now. melbourne and syd are almost there too. hopefully you guys get through it OK
Things are improving quick it seems now just hoping by summer’s end we can actually have a social life w no distancing / mandatory masks

few years now, on and off
I never do any direct core exercise tho so thats why its hitting hard rn
for mind muscle connection I'd suggest focusing on basic ab crunches and squeezing at your core for a few sec every time you get to the top of a rep, then holding the neutral position for a few secs

Mind muscle connection might not be there bc your core isn’t necessarily strong enough. Isometric holds (like planks) are a good starting point for building any mind-muscle connection imo. You’ll build up to it.
Idk if there’s any truth in it but I always see people saying sit ups are bad for your back.
I find superset at the end of a usual workout is the best way to work abs.
-Bodyweight plank 30s (increase by 15s)
-Lying leg raises x15
-Russian twists x15
-V sit ups x15
-Repeat 2-3 times
All of the above weighed once confident.

Damn fire. Thank you
Man same
I figure lockdowns still going somewhat
Might as well go full bear mode for a year
Then 2022 shred for the return of pool parties and festivals
Perfect plan
I'm planning on adding size like 15-20 more pounds then starting the shred process
Any of y'all do tempo-based training? Pause squats, slow eccentric movements, etc
It's kinda hard, and it kinda forces you to get your technique right, as it's harder to fake/cheat if that makes sense
