Recently when I’ve been having my cheat meal (once a week) I workout later that night hoping to offset some of the extra calories. I’m so used to doing it but my friends were telling me to enjoy the food and not worry about working out. but it’s so engrained through repetition and habits that I don’t look at it that way. What do you fellas think?

dont listen to anyone who says s*** like “bro dont worry so much about food just eat what you wanna and enjoy it” they really just jealous that youre gaining

i hate people who try to act like having strict nutrition and health goals are equivalent to an eating disorder/body image issues

You gotta make new behaviors repetitive

Replace old habits with new ones and systems that automatically get you closer to your end goal

the past couple weeks i've been trying harder at this, atm i'm trying to figure out a god routine to stick to. I might get a fitness tracker to help me in that regard.

I stopped drinking alcohol (I might have 3 beers max once a week) and I started eating relatively clean, no longer craving unhealthy food.

I got "USN Anabolic Banana Protein Shake" which I take 2 cups fulls a day in milk. The only equipment I have atm is a push-up board and resistence bands. I also play some strenuous games on the oculus quest like Synth Riders (custom maps because they're insane) and a boxing game called Thrill of the Fight. I do be in heaps of sweat after these but the push-ups are harder to get done atm.

    any tips?

Don’t do the same muscle groups back to back give it at least 48 hrs after training to hit it again

Rest days are grow days! DONT be afraid of em brotha

Best advice to get my abs to pop for someone relatively skinny and still trying to put on a good bit of muscle?

Best advice to get my abs to pop for someone relatively skinny and still trying to put on a good bit of muscle?

You gotta go thru 2-3 bulks and cuts before the abs start getting shapely/popping bro

    Train the abs
    Eat
    Remain consistent...for years.

    Sorry no shortcut answer

You shouldn’t drink all that protein man. One protein shake a day, get the rest of your calories and protein from real food.
