Should I buy it on ps5 or switch? I got the standard edition when it came out, but only ever got as far as when Sylvando? The queer dude who joins your party

I don't think it matters which system you get it on. They're all the same. I got it on PC, so just go with whatever system you play on more.

I bought it on Switch. It runs at 60fps on PS5 but JRPGs are just more comfortable in handheld for me. Don't think there's a wrong answer here tbh.

Tales of Arise demo had me thinking about this

I have no clue where I put my Tales of Berseria disc. Checked the case, n it was empty to my surprised. Checked the ps5 n it aint it there either only had like 2 more bosses left until the end.

read somewhere japan has a f2p bravely default on mobile, need that stateside

Was a big fan of older Tales games and I got Berseria and Zestiria on PSN last year. I wasn't really a fan of Berseria, I couldn't get into it after a few hours but I did like a few things. Might try it again down the road

I haven't played Zestiria yet, just been sitting on my HD.

Speaking of Tales... I got the Vesperia Definitive Edition last weekend because it was on sale and I remembered playing the original on 360 and enjoying it, though I can't remember s*** about the story.

I'm kinda surprised at how stiff the combat in this game is. Idk why but I remember it feeling a little more fluid. But attacking feels very robotic, and like 4 or 5 hours in and I still don't have a ground attack to hit downed enemeies, so battles are just cycles of "1 2 3 arte arte — miss next hits while waiting for enemy to get up — awkward seconds of repositioning — repeat"

Feels really off to me still. Idk why i remember it feeling more fluid than the older entries

I really wish Bandai would do a digital re-release the original PS2 .Hack// series (Infection – Quarantine). I wouldn't even care if they didnt remaster them or do anything extra. I have such a fond memory of playing those when I was younger and I love the way they look and feel. I remember seeing the "commercial" for Infection on Toonami and had to have it.

I played through the follow up G.U. series when it originally released and thought they were decent. I got the recent digital release on PSN a while back, but it doesnt scratch that itch for me like I was hoping.

Still very salty that Japan got the exclusive "5th game" of the OG quadrilogy where the gameplay and UI was pretty much unchanged but it was actually online where you could do everything stuff with other people, right down to actually using the in-game message boards on "The World".

There’s just unfortunately so much s*** Bandai should remake or even localize to NA markets.

It’s frustrating playing a game, and then finding out it’s 4 sequels were all only in JP. Makes me angry at God why I couldn’t be born there.

Japan just seems so advanced and removed from the rest of our world.

Really wish I would've known Bravely Default II wasn't gonna be a Switch exclusive. But also glad I didn't even get far on the Switch version; can easily catch up on PC.

Need Xenoblade Chronicles 3 announced already. At least give me a Xenoblade Chronicles X remaster for Switch

I’m expecting a new Forspoken trailer at minimum, hoping for some more FFXVI news and a trailer for Project RE: Fantasy.

Also not expecting this at all, but I can see Sony paying ATLUS to show off P6 early. The thought hadn’t crossed my mind until today but imagine how hype that’ll be

FFXVI maybe. Other than that I have the lowest of expectations, even if they show only 1 good jrpg il consider it a huge win cause I don't feel like Sonys focus is jrpgs right now

Xenoblade Chronicles 3 has been popping up a lot as a potential reveal, while xenoblade chronicles x port is probably not happening anytime soon, takahashi said he wanted to make a remake a la xenoblade chronicles 1 with remade models and an extra story quest but it would need a high budget, since xcx is a HUGE game. I think if xb3 sells even better than xb2 xcx might be next

God Eater 3 or Tales of Vesperia.. which one should I get?
