anyone read Three Jokers #1 yet?

I am excited to read it but I'll probably wait until I can just buy all of them, I don't usually buy single comics like that

@Skydweller @YANDHI - just read issue one for Three Jokers. Definitely good stuff. Can’t wait to see how this s*** unfolds.

Jason Fabok is just such a f***ing beast. It’s crazy. He’s like a more refined Jim Lee with a little bit of Gary Frank too

Comics are so great for Batman, because you truly get a peek inside of his head. Hearing his inner dialogue is just so GOAT.

You gon be feasting with Bruce's inner thoughts in Court of Owls bro. i'm excited for you.

You gotta ready Grant Morrison's run on Batman. It's prob my fave Batman run ever. So f***ing trippy and meta at times lol, and just a lot of great moments. It's epic.

    thegothamarchives.com/grant-morrisons-batman-reading-order

they actually have an omnibus now that collects the entirety of Morrison's run, so i'd prob recommended that. But that's gonna be some bread for sure

I'd also continue on from City of Owls, and read the rest of Snyder's run on Batman. It's another favorite, and Greg Capullo's art is really amazing

For Batman there's other classic stories like Killing Joke which is a brief but considered definitive Joker story. Year 1 is good also and stuff like Knightfall (Bane destroys Batman) and Hush (same writer as Long Halloween) are good too.

Also you mentioned the Owls but that same writer continues with other great stories like Death of the Family

Other than Batman, if you like the style, I'd suggest Daredevil too there's an amazing run by Brian Michael Bendis thats top tier and brutal. Also major DC events are fun too like Infinite Crisis (you kinda need to know a couple things going in tho)

Yup! those are it. def cop those.

Hmm i guess it depends on what you're into. I can say this though, reading Alan Moore's Saga of the Swamp Thing run is what truly showed me what comics can do as a medium, and how impacting they are. It's a f***ing masterpiece, and it actually influenced me to write my own comic. I'd say definitely check out that. I wouldn't recommend getting the omnibus for this though, because they actually re-colored the art, and it's kinda whack. so just buy each book separately.

    amazon.com/Saga-Swamp-Thing-Book-1/dp/1401220835/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=saga+of+the+swamp+thing&qid=1599066310&sr=8-1

Peep Watchmen by Alan Moore too.

Tom King has written some modern classics as well, that are more psychological capes books. But if you don't know the lore of some of these characters, it might not hit as hard. I'd say definitely peep Tom's run on The Vision. Book blew my f***ing mind haha

    amazon.com/Vision-Complete-Collection-Tom-King/dp/1302920553/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=the+vision&qid=1599066294&sr=8-1

OK Willimson is doing some insane s*** in this final Flash arc

The Flash Family is back at Flash Rebirth levels plus more

Not gonna spoil much I will say today’s issue includes a lot of key s*** relating to frustrations with Wally in the past years especially

This was supposed to be Flash 100 too if not for the legacy numbering. Ridiculous way to hit that mark.

I have to see what he does with Speed Metal now
