Honestly, comic industry needs a revamp, so if a crash has to be the catalyst for change, so be it. Of course local comic retailers will suffer and that will the saddest part to take away.

DC fell off BIG TIME after rebirth. And rebirth is what got me back into comics

Man don't get me started lol. Literally everything they setup in Rebirth hasn't amounted into anything. They built up Wally's return only to completely destroy his character for no reason. The Titans hate each other again and those who don't are dead anyway. Bendis, to nobody's surprise ruined everything good about Superman. I personally liked Metal but everything that spinned out of it is garbage. The Batman who laughs is garbage, Ric Grayson is pointless and also garbage. I see people seem to like Snyder's JL but I found it to be pretty boring, it was all flash no substance imo. All the villains came off pretty one note and it seemed like every other week there was some super amazing weapon that exists that helped them defeat yet another comisc level threat who came outta nowhere
I feel like DC needs some new blood on their books and not just throw the same 4 dudes on every book. The only books i'm reading from DC right now are Strange Adventures, JLD, Shazam and Batman

All of that, and get rid of "woke marketing", it's hella divisive and doesn't necessarily translate into sales.

I personally loved the f*** out if it. And it was truly a great follow-up to Rebirth. SMH can't believe none of it is in continuity anymore either.

Doomsday Clock and Rebirth are some of my recent favorites. Geoff really put his heart and soul into those books.
